Helen Bostock is a carbonate geochemist with interests in chemical oceanography and paleoceanography of the Southwest Pacific Ocean using sedimentology, isotopes and geochemical tracers to understand present and past changes in the carbonate chemistry and circulation of water masses. She also works on the carbonate mineralogy of sediments and marine calcifying organisms and the potential impacts of ocean acidification.
