Marine Mammals

John Arnould has been studying marine mammals and seabirds and their impact on the marine ecosystem, in both temperate and polar regions, for over 20 years. His interests lie in the physiological and behavioural adaptations of these animals and how they respond to environmental variability. His current focus is the top predators of the Bass Strait region and understanding how their populations will respond to climate change.
